Our Definition

 

A software application that allows one to navigate the World Wide Web by locating and displaying web pages. In addition to graphic and text-based documents, most web browsers can also present multimedia information through the use of plug-ins.

    Yen:I teach a basic computer/internet class to Vietnamese parents, and I always have a hard time defining what a web browser is to them. This is a great definition that I should use. Thanks!
